ARIARIKURAKURAMATAMATA is a durational performance that transcends sea boundaries, from sweat evaporating into salt, to eventually melting back into the ocean. A journey that combines birth and disappearance, pause and slowness, also an insight into the landscape that is slowly sinking above the walls of the Renta continent. In this moment, the nine performers present as estuaries (pancer), bridging the transition between data and mantra, between liquid and solid, between roar and quiet, between fracture and secret. Everything dissolves in the twilight, towards the sinking that gives birth to new awareness.

This project was made in collaboration with the local community of Kampung Dadap, hosted and led by Irwan Ahmett and Tita Salina with support from King’s College London and RDI Global.
