Bringing the sea ashore, dissolving the land.

A realm between two worlds: the tide floods the land and recedes to reveal what lies hidden. In this transitional space, life and death never fully settle—forced to adapt, negotiate, and find the strength to endure. Nor is it an ecological metaphor, but rather a physical response that rejects false stability while shattering the cracks of sensation in ancient graves, the sheen of algae, and the shells of giant clams to create dissolving traces and a soft foothold upon corpses that have become land.

INTERTIDAL is a series of site-specific performance workshops initiated by Irwan Ahmett and Tita Salina held in various locations across coastal Jakarta between November 2025 to April 2026.
